EDITOR

I have been editing moving images for more than 20 years. With the bulk of my experience in feature-length non-fiction films, I also have experience with commercials and television shows. Perhaps my greatest strength as an editor is “finding the story”—or structure—hidden in your footage. If you don’t have a pre-determined story that your film follows, I can help you find one that highlights your best footage and helps to convey your message clearly and creatively. I am always pushing for innovative techniques that move the film form forward.

Over the years of working with graduate students and fostering deep creative community with other filmmakers I have developed a keen ability to see what people are trying to make and to help them articulate it.
